How many rooms and suites?

Union Øye has 30 rooms and suites divided into 6 buildings. The historic rooms in our main building and garden rooms in the Cluster Farm. All rooms are double rooms and sleeps 60 guests in total.

Number of guests for dinner?

You can choose between round or square tables seating 80 guests in The Conservatory and Historical Dining Room.

Can we bring our own flowers and decorations?

We have a trusted team of decorators who love to dress to impress. Any event at Union Øye deserves to reflect the history and culture of the place, that's why we do not allow bringing your flowers and decorations. But rest assured, it will all be gorgeous.

Do you recommend an event planner?

Our expert team specializes in arranging events and will assist with personal service and a dedicated contact person. If you prefer an event planner we are happy to work directly with your trusted partner.

What about transfers and logistics?

The journey to Union Øye is a big part of your adventure and we offer luxury transfers with spectacular fjord cruises with the hotel boats, charming transfers with our vintage cars, and comfortable private transfers to/from the airport. For the eagle eyes view you can arrive in style with the hotel helicopter.

Are all events buyouts?

To ensure maximum comfort and the luxury of making your event a personal experience, we only offer weddings as private buyouts. Then you will have the flexibility of using the whole property from check-in at 16.00 to check-out at 12.00 the next day. Need more time? We are happy to offer extended buyout options.

Do you offer menu and place cards design?

We will provide beautiful menus and place cards for your dinner. We believe you will be pleased as many choose to bring their menu back home as a memory of a very special event.

Can you advise on event photographer?

Captured memories on camera are important to secure all those magical moments. We are happy to recommend a trusted local photographer based on your wishes.

How many guests do you recommend for an event?

We always want to be flexible and will do our best to assist with special requests. After hosting hundreds of events you can trust us when we advise Union Øye for smaller intimate events to larger parties with a recommended capacity of 70-80 guests.

How long do you recommend to stay?

The fjords offer a vast amount of activities to capture the beauty of Fjordland. We always recommend staying 4-7 days to make sure you have enough time to explore our scenic destination. We are happy to offer extended buyout options or design a longer trip for a smaller group.
