The Sunnmøre region is home to some of the most scenic roads in Norway. There are several driving routes to Union Øye and an open road all year round. Arrive through the beautiful valley of Norangsdal and by the secluded fjords. All driving routes include beautiful ferry crossings.

Please note: The driving routes from Ålesund are for those arriving from Ålesund town, Ålesund Airport Vigra, Broundet, and Storfjord.

There is an optional driving route by Standal in Google Maps. This includes a ferry with very limited crossings, only two a day – we advise you not to choose this route.
