The Gardens

A lush, mountainous landscape featuring a lake with red cabins, a garden with a gazebo, and a winding path.

A garden with a view

The Victorian garden and terrace

The Victorian garden stretches out from the terrace – winding paths, lilac bushes and considered flowerbeds, with a pond at its heart and views of the fjord and mountains beyond. On warmer days, the terrace opens for al fresco dining and drinks in the sun. During the colder months the firepit is lit, and there is nowhere better to sit with something warming in hand.

Potager and wild meadows

The kitchen gardens

The potager is where the kitchen begins. Wild flowers grow freely among herbs, vegetables and edible flowers, and on most mornings you will find one of the chefs here, picking ingredients for your meal or your cocktail. A flower arch adorns the entrance – an enchanting view from the breakfast table, and a natural waypoint on the path to the farm cluster.
