Hotel Union Øye, 62°NORD and the Flakk Gruppen is family-owned businesses who has invested a lot of resources into the development of hotels and adventures in the ‘Sunnmøre’ region located at 62° North latitude. As part of the Flakk Group’s tourism strategy they are investing heavily in further developing and upgrading the renowned Hotel Union Øye. Since its opening in 1891 it has been a destination for mountain climbers, adventurers, kings & queens from far and wide, whilst also being cited as one of Scandinavia’s most famous historic hotels. As a butler, you are responsible for daily routines in the restaurant and will be involved in developing our restaurant concept to new heights. You are good at leading others and sharing your knowledge. As an important part of the hospitality at the hotel, you help to make guests feel at home during their stay. You must be service oriented, enjoy people and be motivated by creating great experiences. Furthermore, you must be quality-conscious and have a very well-trained eye for detail. In collaboration with skilled colleagues, you will help to ensure that our guests feel at home and have a culinary experience that is in line with our fantastic surroundings. 

We are looking for a person with an education in the hotel and restaurant industry and with experience from similar work. You must have a large work capacity, good collaboration skills, and be a good motivator for your colleagues. Furthermore, applicants must be distinctly service-minded, and you must have a genuine desire to create good experiences for guests. All applicants must speak fluent English, and preferably fluent in one Scandinavian language, yet not limited to.
